Experimental Interfaces

In the IxD group we are continuously developing Experimental Interfaces that investigate more-than-visual/screen-based such as auditory, air-based, embedded, affective, multimodal, embodied or disappearing interfaces. We explore how our interfacial engagements with digital and interactive experiences influence our experience of the design, and how we can create novel user experiences by re-appropriating these engagements in areas like of human enhancement, healthcare and affective interaction design.
