Co-Design Research Group
Jonas Fritsch
I am Associate Professor in Interaction Design at the IT University of Copenhagen in the Department of Digital Design. I am part of the IxD Research Group and the IxD Lab, and Head of Study Programme for the MSc in Digital Design and Interactive Technologies. My work revolves around a creative thinking of interaction design, design processes, experience philosophy and affect theory through practical design experiments with e.g. interactive sound and physical interfaces. I am co-managing the DFF (Danish Independent Research Council)-funded project on Affects, Interfaces, Events(6.35 mio DKR). Here, I am working with the design of affectively engaging interfaces, e.g. in the Voice Pump project. Further, I am Associated Partner in the 7-year SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Council of Canada) research project entitled IMMEDIATIONS: Media, Art, Event(14.6 mio DKR). This project brings together a range of interdisciplinary and internationally distributed partners from within and outside academia to explore, among other things, new values for creating, exploring and living with digital and interactive technologies.
